According to Generación Xbox, on June 12, the company registered with the American Patent Office various trademarks associated with the Xbox Series X, among which was the name “Xbox Series” with an X not appearing at the end.
Despite the information received, Microsoft is in no hurry to officially announce the system. It is also worth considering the fact that brand registration does not always mean product release. On the other hand, earlier Phil Spencer directly hinted that the Xbox Series X will not be the only console in the new generation Xbox line.
At its presentation of the PlayStation 5 company Sony introduced two versions of the upcoming console – the standard and the option with the missing drive for fans of digital releases.
