Around the second week of March in the games of the original trilogy Littlebigplanet lost access to community capabilities due to an alleged DDoS attack. On March 12, the developers turned off the franchise servers in order to solve the problem and said that they would try to get all the functions back into working order as soon as possible.
However, after a month and a half, “as soon as possible” still did not come… Online LittleBigPlanet is still down, and the last time the developers got in touch on April 27th. Then the team noted that they are testing new security updates and from time to time bring the servers back online, but the problem has not yet been fully resolved.…

In a comment for Eurogamer, members of the LittleBigPlanet community reported that the LBP server collapse was triggered by a DDoS attack by an upset fan who was allegedly unhappy with the ongoing development of the franchise, but neither Sony nor development studios have confirmed this, noting only that the downtime is related to “technical” and “server” problems.
The LittleBigPlanet series was originally created Media molecule… The first game debuted on the PlayStation 3 in 2008 and has received critical acclaim for its suite of tools to create your own levels and entire games. It was followed by several offshoots and a full-fledged sequel, after which it took over the reins of the franchise. Sumo digital, which released LittleBigPlanet 3 and last year’s Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
