LG to release 42-inch OLED TV no earlier than 2023

According to Korean economic daily, release of the first 42-inch OLED TV Lg was postponed until 2023. A device ideal for gaming was unveiled at the show CES 2023 in January and has not yet been released.

“Obviously LG wants to add this model to its TV lineup next year to maximize its marketing efforts, rather than introducing it later this year,” the source writes.

The 42-inch OLED TV will be fully optimized for the next-generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles with support for gamer-critical features including HDMI 2.1 4K @ 120Hz, VRR and ALLM, and Ultra Low input lag.

The device is expected to be sold for $ 1,000.
