According to its creator Majestic511, Gwent redux changes the initial values of maps and effects, thereby making Gwint more balanced, fun and user friendly.
According to the modder, the main goal of the add-in is to make the decks more distinct from each other and offering a certain style of play. To achieve the desired effect, the performance of the original cards has been changed.
In addition, Gwent Redux brings to the game 60 new cards presented in thematic sets. They can be bought from virtual merchants or innkeepers, opened as random rewards, received for completing certain quests, and so on.
