It is promised that Lenovo Legion 7i will receive a top-end GeForce RTX 2080 Super card, and a model simpler than 5i will be limited to RTX 2060. Support for adaptive synchronization technology G-Sync is promised. Also announced is the Advanced Optimus system, which should distribute the load between the built-in processor and a discrete graphics card.
This system, allegedly, will automatically switch between video cards and significantly save battery power. That is, during normal operation, it will be the low-power card that will be used, while the “green” accelerator will be connected when the “heavy” game is launched.
The rest of the company was stingy with details, because it is not clear what specifications the new laptops will have. But the price is known. Legion 5i with an RTX 2060 card will cost from $ 999 (almost 78 thousand rubles at the rate excluding taxes and fees). Legion 7i is estimated at 1,199 dollars (more than 93 thousand rubles).
Russian prices are likely to roll over 100 thousand rubles. Release date has not yet been specified.
