The plot follows a young guy named Aiden who calls himself a hunter and defends his isolated village. One day he learns that the village is threatened by the Elder Dragon.
In search of a way to save the village, Aiden leaves his home and embarks on a journey with Julius, a first-class hunter and member of the Hunters Guild, and his companions.
Fans of the Aiden game series are familiar with Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter: World. The cartoon tells the story of the character from the time when he had not yet become a full-fledged hunter.
The cartoon was directed by Steve Yamamoto, who previously worked on special effects for films such as Transformers, Deadpool 2 and Justice League. Written by Joshua Fine (Avengers: Earth’s Greatest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man).
Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild will premiere on August 12th exclusively on Netflix.
