Former player tragically killed in United States Los angeles lakers Kobe Bryant. This was reported by American media.
The incident occurred in the state of California. As emergency services informed, private helicopter Sikorsky S-76, on board of which there was a 41-year-old basketball player, collapsed in the Calabasas city district.
The cause of the accident could be a heavy fog in a mountainous area, because of which even police helicopters were forbidden to fly. In total, there were eight passengers and one pilot in the helicopter; no one survived the plane crash.
According to the journalist Adrian Voinarovsky, along with Bryant flew his 13-year-old daughter Genie Maria Honore. On board was also Christina Mauser – coach of the women’s basketball team and wife of the musician and member of the group Tijuana dogs Matt Mauser.
Kobe Bryant was a true basketball legend and a symbol of the Los Angeles Lakers club, in which he became a five-time champion Nba. In 2017, a basketball player was placed on the cover of the Golden Edition of the game NBA 2K17.
