Following Ash from the Army of Darkness, another leak appeared in the network with regards to Mortal kombat 11. One Reddit user noticed in the database Steam mention of a new edition of the fighting game with a subtitle Aftermath Kollection. There are no details about the collection yet, but it is assumed that the original game will enter into it, the first Kombat pack and possibly a subscription to access the next set of fighters.
Rumors of the appearance Kombat pack 2 go for a long time. Now its existence is actually confirmed by the dataminer thethinywho discovered in the game files 42 slots for characters. Spawn, who recently appeared in the game, became the 31st fighter, which can indicate NetherRealm’s plans to add 11 more characters to the MK11 roster. As the dataminer noted, in Mortal kombat x the total number of slots was determined immediately at launch, and all empty slots were occupied after the release of the corresponding DLCs.

The composition of Kombat Pack 2 for MK11 may enter the above Ash and five more heroes whose names thethiny found in a recent update – Shiva, Fujin, Takeda, Striker and a certain “ROB”. The last fighter is the most interesting – some players believe that under this reduction may be hiding Robocop from a cult film Paula Verhoeven.
The first Kombat Pack consisted of six characters, so it’s not a fact that 11 will appear immediately in the second – perhaps some of them will be left for Kombat pack 3. Earlier co-author Mortal kombat and creative director NetherRealm Studios Ed boone stated that the team plans to support Mortal Kombat 11 much longer than previous franchise games.
