Leak: CD Projekt Created a Video Compilation of Cyberpunk 2077 Bugs Before the Game was Released for Internal Use

A video has leaked to the network with a demonstration of various bugs in Cyberpunk 2077created by the staff of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED a few months before the RPG went on sale. The collection got a joking title Cyber ElBuggado 2023 and is presented in two parts (for all and for adults only).

The fact that this video was created by the developers themselves after the leak was confirmed by one of the producers of CD Projekt RED, who deleted his tweet shortly afterwards, reports VGC. He called the videos “a collection of funny bugs and errors fixed by developers and testers over the years of Cyberpunk 2077 production.”

CD Projekt RED did something similar at the stage of creating the third “Witcher”, however, the video on Cyberpunk 2077 is perceived by many with hostility, as it may indicate that the developers were well aware of all the problems of the game before its launch, while promising a minimum of problems users. New accusations of the Poles of deceiving the audience are already being heard on the network and the words of the developers from the pre-release interviews are quoted.

It is not known exactly who leaked this video to the network (in parallel with the demonstration of the prototype Cyberpunk 2077 sample of 2013), however, there is a possibility that hackers did this, having announced the theft of a large amount of information from Cyberpunk 2077 servers earlier this year.

Last week, the media spread the news that the files stolen from the developers allegedly could soon appear on the free market.

It is alleged that hackers are willing to distribute archives with files containing source codes and assets for games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (original release, as well as a ray-traced version of the game currently in development), Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and Cyberpunk 2077 The price of the issue is 10 thousand dollars.

In addition, hackers also allegedly have in their hands full or partial SDK assemblies of up-to-date console systems, including Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox series x and Nintendo Switch… If the information is true, these materials also risk leaking into the public domain and lead to additional problems in the relationship between platform holders and the studio.

To date, representatives CD Projekt RED the situation was not commented on.
