Lara Croft went on vacation: The sequel to the Tomb Raider movie with Alicia Vikander postponed indefinitely

Company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer announced the postponement of the second part of the film “Tomb Raider: Lara Croft” from Alicia Vikander starring indefinitely.

Initially, the premiere of the picture was supposed to take place 19th March, but now the tape has completely disappeared from the schedule of upcoming MGM releases… As with other films, the ongoing worldwide coronavirus pandemic was the culprit for the postponement, which paused filming of the sequel to Tomb Raider until next year. Vikander herself reported this earlier this month.

The film is directed by Amy Jump. Ben Wheatley, who has already worked with Alicia on the tapes “High Rise” and “Shootout”.
