Konami wants to outsource the next parts of Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania to third-party developers – media

For the foreseeable future, a Japanese publishing house Konami is going to cooperate more actively with third-party companies to develop games for their franchises – release of the following parts Metal gear solid and Castlevania want to entrust external studios… Information about this was shared by the edition VGC citing their own sources.

According to journalists, a few years ago, senior management at Konami refused to partner with third-party studios. The conservative managers of the Japanese company preferred to rely on domestic production, but the releases Metal Gear Survive and Contra: Rogue Corps forced them to reconsider their strategy – both games were coolly received by the press and failed to achieve high sales.

Now, according to media reports, Konami ready to work with third-party partners again. It was within the framework of this initiative that the production could be launched immediately two new parts of Silent Hill… In the future, a similar scenario may recur with new releases. Metal gear solid and Castlevania… The publishing house has plans for this.
