Konami reacted to rumors circulating on the network about the imminent return Silent hill. In the commentary to the publication Eurogamer the company did not confirm or refute any of the specific publications of insiders, but made it clear that it was really interested in continuing the franchise.
“At the moment, we have nothing to share with you. But we are listening to user feedback and are considering the possibility of releasing the next project,” the message said.
According to rumors, Konami is now preparing two projects in the Silent Hill line at once.. One allegedly will be a restart of the main series, and the second will be episodic adventure.
The network suggests that the publisher could have involved Hideo Kojima in the development of one of the games. Eurogamer sources have heard that relations between a game designer and a Japanese company have developed over the past years..
