Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s medieval role-playing game will be screened – the developers are in action

Medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance from the creator Mafia by Daniel Wavra will get a film adaptation with live actors. The news was reported by the Variety edition.

The project will be handled by Wild Sheep Content, founded by former Netflix CEO Eric Barmak, in partnership with Warhorse Studios, behind the original Kingdom Come. The deal with Czech developers follows an agreement between Barmak and SEGA to develop a full-length adaptation Yakuza

At the moment the studio is still looking for potential writers and directors, so there are no details about the film adaptation of Kingdom Come at the moment. In the format of a movie or TV series, the game will hit the screens, it is also unknown.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is set in the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1403. The main character is Henry, the son of a blacksmith, driven by the goal of avenging the death of his loved ones and driving the invaders from their native lands.

The original Kingdom Come was released in 2018 and became one of the most popular games in its genre, with sales exceeding 3 million copies as of June. Read our review here
