While it was obvious, Guerrilla Games confirmed two of its PS4 games just in case – Killzone: Shadow Fall and Horizon: Zero Dawn – compatible with released today Playstation 5 and support transferring saves.
Ready … Set … Play! # PS5
? Horizon Zero Dawn is backward compatible and save files can be transferred from PS4 to PS5.

Both projects did not receive special improvements for the new console, so players will have to be content with them in their original form, however, the developers of Killzone: Shadow Fall provided an option for an unlocked frame rate in the game. On PS4 and PS4 Pro (no optimization patch was released for it), the shooter rarely reached 60 FPS, mostly keeping the bar at 40 FPS, but on PlayStation 5, due to the greater power, the frame rate should be higher.
Judging by the gameplay records already posted on the network, on the new console Killzone: Shadow Fall really reaches the cherished 60 FPS…
Guerrilla Games is currently working on Horizon: Forbidden West… The game will be released in the second half of 2023 on PS4 and PS5.
