John Lithgow (“Crown”), whose character “Trinity” will return in the new season “Dexter” in a cameo, mentioned another return.
It is about Jennifer Carpenterwho played the main character’s sister in the main series Debro, eventually learning his “maniac” secret. Earlier, Lithgow mentioned that in the case of his character we are talking about a flashback and, presumably, the same applies to Carpenter – after all, her character also did not survive the ending of the original show.
In addition, Lithgow called the new season a kind of “rethinking”, as its action takes place in a different part of the world with other characters. At the same time, there will be other references to the first seasons in the sequel – it’s not for nothing that the original screenwriter is engaged in it. Clyde Phillips.
As it was previously known, the new season will tell about the hero’s life after the series finale, when he is hiding from the past – the release will take place on November 7.
