Jeffrey Dean Morgan still wants to play Batman in the Thomas Wayne version

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan revealed that they are still interested in returning to the roles of Thomas and Martha Wayne from the universe “Flashpoint” DC.

The artists performed these roles for Zach Snyder in “Batman v Superman”and since then, many fans would have liked to see Morgan as Thomas the Batman from the alternate universe.

It was assumed that the actor will perform this role in a solo film about The Flash, where the plot from the comics is taken as a basis, but the position of the mentor-Batman departed to the version Michael Keaton

Flashpoint is about how Flash rewrote the past, changing many famous DC events. As a result, not Bruce’s parents were killed in the alley, but himself. Thomas became Batman, who does not hesitate to kill enemies, while Martha, after the death of her son, went crazy and turned into a local Joker.

Cohen and Morgan, who work together on “The Walking Dead”, once again noted that they are ready to take on the adaptation of this story, and generally discussed this idea among themselves for several years already.

However, given the refusal Warner Bros. from Zack Snyder’s version of the universe, such a move remains in question. Morgan replied, however, that in the case of DC adaptations, you should never say never.
