Collider and Variety reports that Jamie Lee Curtis, known for the films “Halloween”, “True Lies” and “Knives Out”, has signed a contract with Lionsgate on shooting in the film adaptation of the game Borderlands…
It is reported that Curtis will play the role of the doctor Patricia Tannis – archaeologist from the planet Pandora, whose knowledge and experience can help you find the mysterious Vault filled with ancient alien technologies. The character has a difficult past with the heroine Cate blanchett, Lilith.
The film will be directed by Eli Roth (“The Mystery of the House with a Clock”) from the script Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”). Gearbox executive Randy Pitchford and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnik will executive produce the adaptation.
Recently it was also confirmed that the picture will appear Kevin Hart as a soldier Roland. The timing of the start of filming and the premiere of the film has not yet been announced.
