On January 29, Warcraft III: Reforged was released. For several days, the game received many negative reviews, and users began to demand a refund. Blizzard Entertainment tried to stop the wave of indignation with the forum’s harsh moderation, and soon sarcastic memes were added to the angry comments, including with ditties from the Crooked Mirror.
The main topic of user jokes was precisely the refund. Blizzard still removes forum topics with similar requests and even blocks particularly active Warcraft fans. The company also got the decision to partially transfer the work on Reforged to a third-party company – Lemon Sky Studios. Despite a decent track record for the studio, some players blamed it on the poor quality of the remaster.
On February 1, Warcraft III: Reforged ranks last in the user rating for PC games on Metacritic. You can find out exactly what the fans of the series are unhappy about here, and read our review on the remaster from the link.
