Scheduled for this year’s new part in the series Call of duty can get a name Black Ops: Cold War. A hint of this was left by a Twitter user Okami, who in the past turned out to be right for many leaks regarding the remaster of Modern Warfare 2 and the royal battle of Warzone.
He did not mention the name directly, but published the cover of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops with the words Cold War attributed below..

This confirms the latest rumors that the upcoming game will not receive a name Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 or simply Call of Duty: Black Ops, but it will be connected with the universe and will tell about events in the Cold War era. The development, according to Kotaku sources, is led by Treyarch with support from Raven Software Studios and Sledgehammer Games, although Activision still hides this information. The official announcement should take place before the end of May.
The release is expected from October to December on PC, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
