The remaining 11,000 users who pre-ordered the device will have to wait some more time. But there’s good news for them too, because Atari promised to ship the rest of the consoles before the end of the summer, as she will soon have all the necessary components at her disposal.
Three options are available for pre-order:
- Atari VCS 400 with an AMD Raven Ridge 2 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal eMMC memory for $ 250 (about 17 thousand rubles at the current rate);
- Atari VCS 800 with an AMD Raven Ridge 2 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal eMMC memory for $ 280 (a little over 19 thousand rubles);
- Kit Atari VCS 800 All-In with branded joystick and gamepad for 380 dollars (about 27 thousand rubles).
The console offers the ability to boot Windows 10, Steam OS, or Chrome OS from an external hard drive. The underlying system used to run native games is a custom version of Linux.
