Smartphone users iPhone 12 encountered flickering, green glow and other display artifacts. Apple already knows about the problem and is trying to solve it.
A similar problem with a green glow on the screen occurred on models iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max… Apple was able to programmatically fix it in iOS 13.6.1… However, the company again did not take it into account in new smartphones.
Based on customer reviews, the screen issue occurs on all iPhone 12 models when display brightness is set below 90%… Many users face this problem in iOS 14.1, iOS 14.2 and the first two beta versions iOS 14.3… The artifact is fickle – for some owners it disappears after a short time.
According to leaked internal Apple documents, the company advised technicians to avoid servicing the affected iPhones, at least for now, and instead inform customers that they should update their smartphone to the latest version of iOS. This guide assumes that the manufacturer hopes to resolve the issue in a future software update.
