A new leak has appeared on the network that concerns future GPUs Intel on architecture Xe. Judging by it, the “blue” video card can easily compete with the latest integrated solutions AMDfor example, with integrated cards for processors Ryzen 4000 series Renoir.
According to the source, a prototype laptop based on a processor Intel Tiger Lake-U with graphics of the twelfth generation showed a very decent level in synthetic tests.
In numbers we are talking about 2196 points in 3DMark FireStrike. Graphic performance is 2467 points, and the indicator in physical modeling is 6488 points. This is comparable to the level of integrated Radeon Vega with eight blocks CU. At the same time, we note that the prototype of the “blue” processor is equipped with only two x86-64 cores.
Of course, this is preliminary data, but it should not be excluded that the new Xe video cards will be able to compete with at least the budget “red” and “green” accelerators.
