The project was carried out in the spirit of the classic GTA (Grand Theft Auto) action series: an open world, a camera over the character and a lot of attention to cars. At the same time, the action is distinguished by its emphasis on a gloomy frightening atmosphere and survival. Ancient deadly creatures invaded the world, the size and appearance of which resemble the monsters of the cult writer Howard Lovecraft. Because of this, the developers of Dead Static Drive jokingly call their game Grand Theft Cthulhu. Surviving in this world is very difficult.
In Dead Static Drive, the player needs to survive in a very dangerous world, Gamebomb.ru reports. He can try to act covertly to avoid clashes with monsters, or he can take any car and hit the road without forgetting to regularly refuel the tank. In the open world, he will meet many other survivors who might try to save. It is not necessary to run away and hide, you can find weapons and give battle. In addition, you can always try to build a shelter and protect it from monsters. So far, only two types of deadly creatures have been shown in the trailer, one of which moves underground. The developers have not yet disclosed other details.
Dead Static Drive will be released on Xbox One and PC on Steam. The game will be available for free to subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass service.
