Insider: iPhone 13 will be able to recognize the owner in a mask thanks to new Face ID sensors

9to5mac announces major system update Face IDthat could revolutionize facial recognition in a pandemic era. Authoritative insider John Prosser States that Apple will install in iPhone 13 new sensors for mask wearer recognition.

The technology is already ready and is currently being tested within the company. Apple employees wearing masks and glasses unlock iPhone indoors and outdoors. It is reported that you will not have to set up Face ID separately. It will be enough to capture the image once – with or without a mask.

It is worth noting that the iPhone 13 can be presented in September without a revolutionary feature, and use it in one of the updates – Apple tests the software and releases it as soon as the feature is ready.
