In an interview with the portal Venturebeat narrative designer Infinity ward Taylor Kurosaki spoke about the plans of developers to implement in Call of Duty: Warzone iconic events like what you could see in Fortnite.
For example, concerts were held at Fortnite, there were plot events that changed the world beyond recognition, and once even after one of them the universe was sucked into a black hole. Epic games knows how to surprise players, and Activision Blizzard wants to try the same, but on a smaller scale – for now.
So in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare already reveal the mythology of the shooter universe through introductory videos of the seasons and joint special operations, but there will be more. What exactly is not yet disclosed.
