In Japan, a robber was arrested who illegally took possession of collectible cards Pokémon in the amount of $ 9,100 (about 690 thousand rubles), as well as cash of 260,000 yen (2,370 dollars). The press drew attention to him because he committed a crime using an unusual trick.

The 28-year-old gamer named Kensuke Nakanishi descended on a rope from the top of a six-story building to the roof of a video game and merchandise store. From there he got into the trading floor with rare cards.

As it turned out, the attacker was helped to carry out the robbery by skills acquired in a climbing club in high school.

The detainee hoped to sell rare Pokemon cards to sort out his debts, but now he faces a prison sentence.

The older editions of the Pokémon Trading Card Game only increase in value every year. In January, a rare first set, preserved in a sealed form, was sold at auction for a fabulous 406 thousand dollars (more than 30 million rubles).
