In classic World of Warcraft, players start all over again – review addiction

Some time ago Blizzard announced addition The Burning Crusade Classic for the “vanilla” version World of warcraft… And those who decide to fight the Burning Legion will be able to do it on the new servers, while the rest will have to continue what they have been doing for the last couple of years.
Unhappy with this state of affairs, the players decided to take matters into their own hands. And they announced the initiative The Fresh Crusade: they decided to start the game anew, on a server where there will be no mass of bots, a broken economy and too large a population.

Due to the fact that Blizzard does not open new servers, one of the most uninhabited ones was chosen for the “crusade”: the European Dragonfang. And it soon ceased to be empty: on Discord-channel initiative gathered about 10 thousand people, and about three thousand started the game from the beginning.

The participants themselves claim that what is happening reminded them of the very first start of World of Warcraft, in 2004. During the launch of the Classic version in 2019, “mirrors” were turned on and players were layered. Now they all ended up in one place, and it took several hours for the heroes to be distributed to different locations.

In the very first hours, two dozen guilds were created, and the new inhabitants of the server again faced queues, a lack of mobs and other aspects of the general start. But they are happy: despite all the chaos, everyone knew what they were doing.

The great resettlement became widely known, and bots, toxic players, “advertisers” and other life-poisoning aspects will probably return to the empty server soon. It is not yet known what steps the participants will take next.
