Youtuber Upside down published a video in which he showed one of his recreated on Unreal engine 4 kart Diablo 2. The project is still at a very early stage, but it already gives some ideas about what a cult role-playing game on a modern engine might look like.
The video shows the Fourth Act, on which the author intends to complete work by June 20. However, Upside Down is not going to spread his work for free access – the finished project will be used in his personal portfolio as an example of demonstrating skills in employment.
In addition to Unreal Engine 4, Upside Down used the functionality of programs such as 3Ds max 2023, Zbrush, Photoshop and Substance painter.
