This information was shared by developers in a comment to the Portuguese branch Eurogamer, who took an interest in the real framerate of the game on the non-x-ray console of the American platform holder.
“At present, we can guarantee that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will work at least at 30 FPS. Faster differences in the game will be faster downloads, which will allow gamers to completely immerse themselves in history without unnecessary stops. Thanks to the capabilities of the Xbox Series X, the project will also get improved graphics “We look forward to showing this amazing world we are creating in 4K resolution.”
The words “at least” can also mean the presence of an unlocked frame rate with a minimum bar in 30 FPS. It is possible that closer to the release, developers will still be able to optimize the game and achieve the cherished numbers, but so far, we are talking about stable 4K/60 FPS on the Xbox Series X, apparently, does not go.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will appear on Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, PC and current generation consoles this fall. The exact release date is not disclosed, but according to a recent rumor, the game may premiere. October 16th.
