Company Square enix announced the postponement of the release of the superhero action game Marvel’s Avengers for the next-gen consoles Xbox Series X / S and PS5, and also shifted the release of the first add-on with the character Kate Bishop from October to a “later date.”
Bishop was supposed to appear in the game this month, and the action itself was supposed to drop into the nextgen consoles with their launch in November.
AT message, dedicated to the current state of affairs in the game, which has been depressing since its inception on PS4, Xbox One and PC, head of studio Crystal Dynamics Scott Amos apologized to fans for delaying the release of the Kate Bishop add-on. In addition, he has not yet indicated a specific timeline for the release of the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, but only limited himself to a year – 2021…
Lack of post-release content already outlined a serious outflow of gamers from the game, and the current decision can only aggravate its current situation.
As compensation, Amos offered the players on October 22 to download a “thank you pack”, which will include:
- Credits: 1,500
- Units: 7000;
- Upgrade modules: 250;
- DNA Keys: 20;
- Nameplate with Sarah Garza.
Launched under a backward compatibility program on new consoles, Marvel’s Avengers will offer gamers faster downloads and higher frame rates. The authors also declared support for cooperative crossgen play, and the saved files can be transferred to the updated version when it is available.
