On Youtube a video appeared with a short demo of frames from the prototype of the canceled game Mirror’s Edge 2… The video was originally uploaded to Instagram one of the participants in the development back in 2015, but then it was removed and it did not appear anywhere else until recently.
As you know, a direct sequel to the original Mirror’s Edge was in development from 2009 to 2011, but was eventually canceled by the decision of the publishing house Electronic Arts.
The author of the publication claims that he had kept the video since 2018, and now he has finally decided to post it on YouTube. Shots from the game can be seen at the mark 0:27…
In 2016, the game was released Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, which became the restart of the franchise, which has no connection with the plot of the original in 2008.
