Readers of the largest Western gaming publication IGN called the best game of the past decade Grand theft auto v. Their votes for a multi-platform crime thriller from Rockstar games almost 300,000 people returned.
The five winners are as follows:
- Grand Theft Auto V – 295.651
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – 230,978
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 157,065
- The Last of Us – 147,826
- Red Dead Redemption 2 – 92.391
The IGN team voted on the best games not only on the main site, but also on their pages on social networks, including YouTube and Twitter. In total, journalists counted more than 923,000 answers and formed a rating based on this huge array.
Earlier, the Metacritic team determined the best games according to their users based on 2,600 votes..
