Hideo Kojima and Yoji shinkawa in honor of tomorrow’s premiere of Death Stranding on the PC gave a 25-minute interview Jeff Keely.
The interview did not touch on any completely new topics regarding the computer version of the project, recalling the features of the new version like support for widescreen monitors and equipment from the universe Half-life.
Keely asked the game designer if he considered himself a prophet – Death Stranding came out a few months before the global pandemic, showing a surprisingly realistic view of the world, whose inhabitants avoid each other and rely on couriers.
Kojima joked with words that if he were a prophet, sales of the game would have been much higher.
Along with this, he told how he went to the office a few years ago Valvewhere he met with Gabe Newell. They quickly found a common language and realized that they were both interested in space. Then they agreed on a joint trip to Spacex to meet with Elon Mask.
They have not traveled in the past, but Kojima still intends to get to the manufacturer of the spacecraft.
Death Stranding was released on PS4 last fall and will appear on PC tomorrow. Yesterday, the preload started on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
