Iceborne Unveils Six-Year DLC Development Plan – review

Capcom presented a development plan Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for the next six months, announcing that from April updates for the console and computer versions of the role-playing action will be released simultaneously.

On consoles until June will be:

  • Festival of appreciation (January 24-February 13)
  • new event quests with monsters of the golden crown (february)
  • two new variations of monsters (March)
  • new grandiose monster (Arch-Tempered) and new Master Rank versions of existing creatures (April)
  • The return of the beloved monster fans (May)
  • new monsters and updates (June and beyond).

The PC version until April will be leaps and bounds to catch up on console versions, so that after that release all updates at the same time. Here’s what the roadmap for the PC looks like:

  • February 6:
    • the addition of the Rajang
    • crossover with Resident Evil 2
    • room update
    • adding a volcanic region to Guiding Lands
  • March 12th:
    • the addition of Safi’jiva and the Stygian zinogra.
    • the addition of the Tundra region to Guiding Lands.
  • April:
    • New Grand Monster (Arch-Tempered)
    • new Master Rank versions of existing creatures
    • two new monster variations
    • synchronization of updates with console versions.
