The gaming industry continues to provide all possible assistance, raising money for those involved in extinguishing and eliminating the aftermath of severe fires in Australia. This time it’s the turn of the online game service Humble bundle, which the launched own initiative. The site offers to purchase a special bundle consisting of 29 games for 25 US dollars (about 1,540 rubles). The company will direct all received funds to charity at WIRES, RSPCA and the World Wildlife Fund.
Humble claims that the cost of games in the kit exceeds 400 US dollars. The projects below can be activated on Steam. On the right is the price in rubles.
At the time of this writing, over 26,000 people have purchased bundles.
As for other participants in the gaming industry, here we can note the creators of the multiplayer game Warframe from studio Digital extremes. They donated $ 30,000 – $ 15,000 each for the Bushfire Emergency Wildlife Fund and the Bendigo Bank Bushfire Appeal. In addition, the developers recommended gamers to transfer any funds to these organizations.
Earlier, Infinity Ward contributed to charity funds in Australia Ubisoft australia and Bungieand the online publication Eurogamer a little earlier organized a livestream, in which it was possible to collect about 4,000 US dollars.
