The coronavirus pandemic and Valve left Dota 2 fans without the anniversary The International in 2023, but the long-awaited event, which was forced to throw out a couple of numbers from the name, will begin very soon. Taking into account the situation in the world, matches alone on stage in front of spectators would have been enough to call the tournament a success, but the Cybersport.ru editors decided to dream of an ideal TI10.

The terrible word “hype”
Valve Studio does not like to make a fuss and stir up interest in their projects in advance. Many will say that The International doesn’t need a promotional campaign, but why not give it a try? As soon as Valve resolves the issues with spectators visiting the National Arena in Bucharest, you can start pour content across all channels…
Here Valve, as always, can peep into the notebook for Riot Games. First of all, why not give The International 10 its own theme song? I have nothing against music in Dota 2, but in past tournaments, these compositions were performed in a variety of ways. Find the right artist, record an inspiring, dynamic, champion song and launch it a month before the start of the event on social networks and streaming services – the audience at the opening ceremony will be ready to happily sing along and twitch to the rhythm.
As stated in the first paragraph, these are all more of a dream. It is clear that in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, Valve simply cannot pull off such a musical trick in a month. It would be great if the studio thought about this moment in advance, but the chances of the appearance of the main theme of The International 10 in the new format still remain. In the past, licensed music has already played at the Valve-sponsored event – we are talking about ELEAGUE Major 2017 and the collaboration with Metallica.
