Less than a year ago, Riot’s new shooter, Valorant, was released. The game, which in the reviews was presented as nothing less than a “Counter-Strike killer”, is gradually gaining momentum, the developers are rocking the e-sports scene with might and main, and the clubs, one by one, are collecting squads for the new discipline. In less than a year, many CS legends have already turned into a shooter, including several major champions. Someone does this out of a lust for money, while someone simply cannot cope with the competition in CS: GO and is looking for an easier way to the top. Either way, this process can hardly be stopped, and fans will have to hear more than once the news that another big name from the world of Counter-Strike will now appear in the shooter from Riot. Who should definitely think about changing discipline – in the material Cybersport.ru.

Olof olofmeister kayber
Olofmeister is the only one from this list of esports players who will definitely leave the competitive CS: GO scene in the near future. Over the past six months, rumors have repeatedly appeared on the network that the Swede will retire, and in a recent interview coldzera officially confirmed that Kaibier “no longer wants to play Counter-Strike.” But no one talked about Valorant, right?
Valorant is a completely different matter, especially since there is a wonderful example before Sukharev Kirill ANGE1 Karaseva, who changed discipline and assembled a squad of young players. Riot’s shooter is sure to attract a lot of newcomers who have yet to find out what it’s like to be on the big stage and fight against the strongest opponents. And Edward has a lot of this experience after an impressive career in CS: GO. Moreover, Sukharev once faced the need to learn a new game from scratch, when in 2012 his NAVI roster moved from 1.6 to Global Offensive. While there is no news from Edward about his future, hopefully he is actively figuring out how the USP-S counterpart in Valorant works.
Janusz Snax Pogorzelski
Snax – one of the players of the legendary Polish squad Virtus.pro… At a time when this team was at its peak, it seemed that the script for Pogorzelski’s career was written in advance. It was obvious to most fans that TaZ, NEO and pashaBiceps due to their age, they will leave the stage earlier than Snax and byali, and then the young duo will have to take on the duties of experienced veterans and become guides to the world of big CS for new talents from Poland. However, this did not happen. It turned out that those five worked precisely in tandem – due to mutual understanding and team play, and separately the cybersportsmen could no longer achieve results.
What GuardiaN should do in the new season is completely incomprehensible. All top European teams look complete, and the Slovak sniper hardly has time for the next race for the Major with a new roster assembled from scratch – in July Kovacs will turn 30. It seems that the only option for GuardiaN to return to the fight for prizes is to go in Valorant. Fortunately, the shooter from Riot also has a sniper rifle, so let’s hope to see a couple more 1v5 clutches.
Dan apEX Madesclair
ApEX is the most eccentric player Team Vitality and also the most unstable. Of course, you need to make allowances for the role of the Frenchman in the team – Madesclair leads the game from the position of the captain, but he did not differ in consistency in other teams in which he was an ordinary shooter. Not so long ago, the Vitality coach unexpectedly sent apEX inactive to solve unnamed personal problems. Although XTQZZZ and said in an address to fans that the Frenchman is guaranteed to return to the squad, his decision still raises a number of questions about the future of Madesclair in the team.
The current situation in Team Vitality is better than ever to let apEX float free. Six people play for the team at once, which, apparently, does not really like Valve, which recently introduced penalty points for using substitutions in rating tournaments. Beyond that, Madesclair revealed talent for 2023 misutaaa and Nivera and can be absolutely deservedly proud of the work done. But now it is unclear what other benefit he can bring to the team. It is not known exactly what problems apEX is currently solving, but perhaps he should think about changing the discipline. Perhaps it is in Valorant that Madesclair will finally be able to get out of the shadow of stellar teammates and concentrate the attention of fans on herself.
Denis seized Kostin
Story seized very similar to a roller coaster. Incredibly fast growth, universal attention and praise, and then an equally rapid decline and fading into the shadows. Kostin was indeed one of the key players of that very Natus Vincere roster, which twice reached the majors finals, but everything that happened after NAVI only brings tears to our eyes. For the last four years, seized has been working unsuccessfully to return to the Counter-Strike elite, but with each new attempt it seems that Kostin’s victories are already in the past – in the arenas of Columbus and Cluj-Napoca.
