Htc officially unveiled a new virtual reality headset for PC – Vive Pro 2… It is already available for pre-order and will go on sale 4th June…
As the name suggests, the Vive Pro 2 is the successor to the company’s high-tech VR headset that debuted in 2018. One of the key features of the updated model is an LCD display with a resolution of 5K (2448 x 2448 pixels per eye), a viewing angle of 120 degrees and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.… In comparison, the original Vive Pro had a total resolution of 2880 x 1600 pixels with a 110-degree field of view and only worked at 90Hz.
HTC claims the Vive Pro 2’s technological improvements ensure “minimal motion blur” and the mosquito net effect is reportedly “virtually eliminated.”
The headset also features an adjustable interpupillary distance (IPD) and customizable headband, supports lossless video compression, and is equipped with certified detachable earbuds. Hi-Res Audiothat provide three-dimensional spatial sound. PC connects via DisplayPort 1.2, but Vive wireless adapter can also be used… However, in this mode, the operating resolution and refresh rate of the display will be reduced to 2448 x 1224 pixels and 90 Hz, respectively.
