The design of the device differs from the current cumbersome Vive solutions and looks more like a Magic Leap AR-headset. HTC claims that working prototypes have already been created and are being tested. As for the specifications, it will be, rather, augmented or mixed reality devices with 5G support.
It looks like Proton Glass
There are two prototypes in the Project Proton line: Proton aio and Proton glass. Both are equipped with front cameras, but this is where their similarities end. The AIO version is a universal solution with an integrated computing unit. He also has built-in speakers. Glass relies on an external module or smartphone.
It has not yet been announced when these devices will go on sale, how much they will cost, and which will provide opportunities. However, the trend can already be traced – such helmets should partially replace smartphones, or at least screens and a control system.
