To create a simple lantern, you will need eight pieces of iron and one torch. Iron pieces are generated in rocks, caves, chests on sunken ships and in some taiga villages. Also, this material can be obtained by melting unnecessary weapons and iron tools. As for the torches, they appear in many places, it is not difficult to find them. Alternatively, you can craft them yourself from a single stick and coal or charcoal.
How to create a Lantern of the soul in Minecraft
To create a Soul Lantern, you will need a Soul Torch, the ingredients for which should be found in the Valley of Soulsand biome in the Nether. There you need to collect the Soil of the Soul, and then, as in the case of ordinary lanterns, connect it on the workbench with a stick and coal. Charcoal can also be replaced with charcoal.
