The foundation is built by installing several vertical bars in the ground, and then connecting them with horizontal beams, which will eventually serve as a frame for the foundation.

After the foundation is completed, you can proceed with the construction of walls, ceilings and a roof. Do not forget that the world of Valheim is inhabited by many different creatures and animals, some of which are aggressive towards the player and are capable of damaging his buildings. Therefore, to protect the house, it is advisable to enclose it with a palisade. In the construction menu, you can find the item “protective wall”, which is ideal for creating defensive structures. In addition, protruding stakes can be placed around the entire circumference of the wall, which will make it difficult for animals to access the fortification.
