The development studio DarkStone Digital has created a small horror movie The Mortuary Assistant, Gamebomb.ru reports. In it, players are offered to become an assistant to the owner of the funeral home and work in the morgue. The plot begins from the moment when the chief of the protagonist has family problems, so he urgently leaves. He transfers all matters to the player’s character. However, he is still a complete beginner and does not know how to prepare bodies for funerals, so he will have to learn in the process. The developers tried to convey the gloomy atmosphere of the morgue. Work in this institution in itself keeps in suspense, but The Mortuary Assistant is not only that. Soon after starting work in the morgue, frightening things begin to happen.
The DarkStone Digital team originally prepared a release for their sponsors on the Patreon service, Gamebomb.ru reports. Later, they decided to make the game available to everyone for free. You can download The Mortuary Assistant on the official project page. A gameplay video was also published in which you can appreciate the atmosphere of a horror movie and unexpected mystical plot twists.
