Hitman 3 in the future will acquire ray tracing not only on PC, but also on Xbox Series X

Thanks to the recent message on the Xbox Wire blog it became known that the stealth action Hitman 3 from IO Interactive will acquire support for ray tracing on consoles Xbox Series X | S… This technology will be presented on new Microsoft gaming solutions along with the PC version.

CTO of IO Interactive studio Maurizio de Pascal told the following:

“It’s great that the Series X | S GPU has a ray tracing solution. We’ve already started working with this rendering technology in the Glacier engine, and once we think we’re completely ready, we will definitely present the result on Series X | S.”

Despite the fact that the article does not mention PS5, it can be said with a high degree of certainty that Agent 47 will also sparkle with a bald head. There is a possibility that the tracing could turn out to be a temporary Xbox Series X exclusive, as it already was earlier in the case of the PS5 version of the Devil May Cry 5 slasher.

Last week thanks technical analysis of the game it became known that Hitman 3 for Xbox Series X in terms of resolution has an advantage over the PS5 version.

Series X has become the only console on which the game runs in native 4K resolutionwhile on PlayStation 5 the game goes to 1800p, and on Xbox Series S – in 1080p
