Ninja theory at the extended show of games Microsoft presented a fresh video Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, confirming the status of the project – it is still at the pre-production stage.
This means that the team is still in the process of forming the concept, building gameplay mechanics, writing the script and creating other basic things – when all this is ready, active production will begin, which will probably take at least a year.
At the same time, the developers do not call Senua’s Saga a “direct continuation” – it is, like the original, “something special.” The action takes place in 9th century Iceland, and the studio consults with Epic Games to create characters on a new graphical level.
The combat system is promised to be made especially realistic and brutal, which is why Melina Yurgens had to train actively for two years to bring herself into the desired shape.
The game does not even have an approximate release date, but it is being created for the Xbox Series and PC.
