Hearthstone was released in March 2014, so in honor of the sixth anniversary of its collectible card game, developers from Blizzard launched a special holiday event called “The Spirit of Competition.”
For entering the game until March 17 (20:00 Moscow time), users will receive 2 sets of add-on cards “Retribution of Shadows”, “Savior of Uldum” and “Onslaught of Dragons”, as well as a shirt for cards “Year of the Dragon”.
Also, along with the event “Spirit of Competition” a new chain of legendary quests began:
- March 4 (21:00 Moscow time): complete 2 games in any mode to get a set of cards from the Onslaught of Dragons expansion;
- March 5 (21:00 Moscow time): play 20 cards to get a set of cards from the additions “Retribution of Shadows” and “Savior of Uldum”;
- March 6 (21:00 Moscow time): Make 30 moves to get a set of cards from the additions “Retribution of Shadows” and “Savior of Uldum”.
Finally, as part of the festive event, players will have two special brawls:
- “Incineration.” In it, players will use a deck selected at random. The loser gets the winner’s deck, which he will use in the next battle. As a result, one deck will be recognized as the best;
- The Hall of Champions. Play decks of past world champions (before changing the balance), including decks of the last two winners of the finals – Xiaomen Lee (VKLiooon) and Casper Notto (Hunterace).
