Edition IGN reports that the movie star “Hardcore” and “The Magnificent Seven” Hayley Bennett joins the cast of the film adaptation Borderlands…
Bennett will play the original character. So far, it is known that her character will be the key to the past of Cate Blanchett’s character, Lilith.
In addition to Bennett and Blanchett, the cast has already been joined by Kevin Hart (Roland), Jamie Lee Curtis (Dr. Patricia Tannis), boxer Florian Munteanu (Krieg) and Jack Black, who will voice the robot Claptrap.
The director’s chair for the Borderlands adaptation was taken by Eli Roth (Hostel, The Mystery of the House with a Clock), and Craig Mazin (TV series Chernobyl) is responsible for the script.
