Company Microsoft and studio 343 Industries officially announced that their long-suffering shooter Halo infinite will not be released until autumn 2023. However, the exact release date was not disclosed.
The game was originally supposed to be included in the launch lineup of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. But after the failure of the gameplay demo this summer, Microsoft decided to postpone the release.
They invited to save the project Joe Staten (former chief screenwriter Halo in Bungie, now in charge of Infinite’s single player campaign) and Pierre Hintza (was responsible for support The master chief collection, now working on Infinite multiplayer). The latest post on the developer blog comes in the form of an interview that Joe Staten took with the studio staff. They said that they responsibly approached the finalization of the visual and artistic components of the shooter, taking into account all the reviews and criticism. In particular, we are talking about combating object loading, improving the lighting model, the quality of textures, and so on.

Joe Staten added that after being appointed to the new post, he managed to complete the Halo Infinte story campaign twice and was pleased with what he saw. Players will find the most extensive and “vertical” world of all that is available in the franchise, as well as the legendary loop from “30 Seconds of Fun”.
