If the plans of the developers are fulfilled, then the release of GTFO will take place at the end of the year. But it is more realistic to expect it in 2023. Indeed, in the studio there are only nine permanent employees, and when one of them becomes ill, this affects the work process.
The creators of GTFO prefer to be convinced of the safety of themselves and their families than to force the development of the game at any cost. Nevertheless, they are already preparing the next update, which will be released on March 31.
The main goal of GTFO updates is to replace dungeons already familiar to players with a fresh batch. And the tests that are waiting for an update The Rundown # 002 / Infectionwill make even experienced players sweat.
In particular, in the dungeon, which the developers showed earlier, players will have to cooperate to complete the mission. One of the fighters will have to enter on the terminal the teams that are seen by three other players and must inform him. And all this without interrupting the battle.
The update will bring ten new maps and a new weapon – a submachine gun and a rifle with explosive bullets. The creators of the game are also going to try out a new function: some of the new locations will be unlocked only after a certain number of players cope with previous dungeons.
