Graphic Parity: New Resident Evil Village Demo Compared And Tested On PS4, PS4 Pro And PS5

Channel ElAnalistaDeBits tested and compared on PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 demo released at night Resident Evil: Village with castle Dimitrescu.

Since this episode is technically part of a previous demo that suggested exploring the village, there are no changes in terms of resolution and the speed of work has remained almost the same (see the last test)However, this time around, the PlayStation 5 was able to show itself much better in terms of using ray tracing.

If in the episode with the village RT-effects practically did not make themselves felt, then in the interiors of the castle their use is much more noticeable. Ray traced reflections on glossy surfaces in the PS5 version look more realistic, but in general, again, the game graphically looks almost the same on all three Sony consoles.… The main differences are in resolution, performance and download times.

In terms of content, the episode introduces the merchant Duke, allows you to walk through several locations of the castle and shoot ghouls in the catacombs. Lady Dimitrescu herself is shown only briefly in the demo, and the main enemy is one of her daughters, from whom Ethan is trying to escape unsuccessfully.

In Russia, the demo will be available today in 20:00 in Moscow. Players will have 8-hour access and only 30 minutes to complete
