From the May issue of the Japanese magazine Monthly comic beam it became known that Gou Tanabe is engaged in manga adaptation of the work of Howard Lovecraft Shadow over Innsmouth. The first issue will be published in the June issue of Monthly Comic Beam 12 May.
The plot of the terrifying work is based on the story of a student who goes on an antique tour of New England. During his journey, the hero enters the seaport of Innsmouth, and there he encounters strange people, and also witnesses disturbing events.
Gou Tanabe previously released a manga adaptation Call of Cthulhu based on the work of Howard Lovecraft. The last chapter of the story came out November 12, 2019.
